Since 2000, we have established an overseas training programme with the Psychology Service of the Veterans Affairs San Diego Health Care System and the Department of Psychiatry of the University of California, San Diego (UCSD). Selected students will spend their 5th clinical placement at UCSD for specialized training in Neuropsychology. Since 2002, the second overseas training programme was established with the Department of Psychology, Boston University (BU). Selected students will spend their 5th clinical placement at the Centre for Anxiety and Related Disorders, BU for specialized training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with anxiety and related disorders. Since 2016, the third overseas training programme has been set up with the Program for Recovery and Community Health at the Department of Psychiatry, Yale School of Medicine. Selected students will spend their 5th clinical placement at Yale University for specialized training in community mental health and personal recovery.
